How to get a data plan for your SweTrack Lite

When your SweTrack Lite has been connected to your vehicle's power system, you need to sign up for a data plan subscription in order to use the product.

What's a data plan? And why do I need one?
All GPS tracking devices need cellular connectivity in order to work, as this is the only way for the device to transmit data (e.g. location data) to you. Some of our products require you to purchase a SIM card separetely - however, the SweTrack Lite comes with a built-in SIM card that is easily topped up with cellular data through our website.

What's included?
The data plan includes unlimited mobile data usage across the European Union as well as Norway and Switzerland. The device is able to switch between all available networks freely, which means that you can travel across multiple European countries without having to change any settings. The device is also carrier-free - which means that it automatically connects to the mobile network which has the best signal in your area!

How much does it cost? Do I need to commit to something?
The data plan is just €4.95 per month. There is no commitment required - while the subscription is automatically renewed every month, it can be cancelled at any time - just click Cancel on our subscription page, and you can cancel your data plan subscription whenever you like.

How do I sign up?
Go to our website www.swetrack.com, select English as your language and click Top-Up, which can be found in the top right corner of the site. Enter your product's IMEI number, which can be found on the box, and complete the payment wizard by following the on-screen instructions. You will then recieve a payment receipt through email, and your device will be ready for use within ten minutes. The €4.95 monthly fee will be charged automatically to your credit card once per month until you manually cancel your subscription.
