Congratulations on choosing the SweTrack Engine - our most intelligent vehicle tracker ever! The SweTrack Engine helps ensure that you're always in control of your vehicle's whereabouts, thanks to its intelligent alarm features and the SweTrack Live app. In order to get started, you just need to follow a few easy steps. These are outlined below.

SIM Card Prerequisites
In order to communicate with you and transmit location data to the Live Tracking server, the SweTrack Engine requires a valid SIM card. To enjoy full functionality, your SIM card must have support for both data and SMS messaging. Please note that the SweTrack Engine does not support 3G/4G SIM cards - this means that the SIM card you're using must be from a carrier with a 2G/GSM network. If there is a PIN code on your SIM card, this should be disabled before installing the SIM card in your SweTrack Engine as there's no way to input the PIN code on the SweTrack Bike - this can be done by inserting the SIM card into a cellphone and using the on-screen menus to disable the PIN code. The SweTrack Engine uses Standard-sized SIM cards.

Installing the SIM Card
Use the supplied screwdriver or any small Philips head screwdriver to open the door on the back of the device, and install the SIM card into its slot. If the white microswitch is set to OFF, switch it to ON - this is required for the backup battery to work. Make sure to tighten the screws properly when you reattach the door, since this helps prevent water and moisture from entering the device.

Installing the Device
The SweTrack Engine is designed to be connected directly to your vehicle's electrical power system. To get started, connect the supplied cable to the device itself using the square connector found on the device itself and the power cable, respectively. When this is done, simply connect the black wire to a negative pole (-) and the red wire to a positive pole (+). The white cable is designed to be connected to the vehicle's ignition lock. If you choose to this, you can recieve push notifications through the SweTrack Live app whenever the vehicle's ignition is turned on or off. This is, however, optional and thus not required for the device to work.

Starting the Device
Once you've followed the steps above, the SweTrack Engine is ready for use. It's a good idea to try sending a test command to the device's phone number, for instance omstart123456, to make sure that the device is recieving power.

We recommend that you read the other articles in the Knowledge Base in order to get the most from your device. Good luck!
